Getting Started

Insurance & Everything Else You're Wondering

I believe in being upfront about how this works, so it's one less thing standing between you and getting started.

Reaching out is simpler than it feels right now. There's no paperwork and no commitment in that first step, just a conversation. You don't need the right words or a clear starting point; that's what our first conversation is for.

I am always open to questions. Feel free to reach out about anything you would like to know before getting started.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider. I do not bill insurance directly, but I am happy to provide a "superbill", an itemized receipt you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, depending on your plan's out-of-network mental health benefits.

How long are sessions, and how often will we meet?

Individual and couples sessions are typically 50 to 60 minutes long. We will determine the frequency of our meetings together based on your needs and goals.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes. Florida clients can meet with me in person or virtually. New York clients are seen via telehealth only.

Can we incorporate my faith or spirituality into our sessions?

Yes. My faith is a personal value that shapes who I am, and I am very comfortable incorporating faith and spirituality into our work if that is important to you. I practice in a way that is welcoming to everyone, and we will always follow your lead on how much or how little you'd like to integrate your beliefs into our sessions.

What happens during the free 15-minute consult?

It's a short, low-pressure phone call. No forms, no commitment. We'll talk about what's bringing you in, I'll answer any questions you have, and we'll decide together if I'm the right fit for your needs.

What should I expect from my first full session?

We'll slow down and get the full picture: your history, what's brought you in, and what you'd like to feel different. There is no pressure to have it all figured out before we start; my job is to help you navigate that process.

Do you see teens, or only adults?

I work with individuals and couples across the lifespan, from preteen through adult.

Do you offer sessions in Spanish?

Yes. I am bilingual and offer sessions in both English and Español, whichever feels most comfortable for you.

Not sure where to start? Let's talk for 15 minutes, free.

A complimentary 15-minute consultation gives us the chance to connect, talk about what's bringing you here, and see whether working together feels like the right fit.

A safe, collaborative space to understand yourself more deeply and heal at your own pace. Serving Florida and New York, in person and via telehealth.
